Understanding drawing templates
Wed, Nov 14, 2007
There has been a very positive response to my Part Template video, and with that response has been many requests for a video on Drawing Templates and how they relate to Sheet Formats. SolidWorker.com is primarily user request driven. You have spoken and I have heard. Please enjoy this video and continue to send in your requests to tim(at)solidworker.com.

I love your videos. Is there a way to pause them while watching so I don’t miss a word if the phone rings or I have to get up?
Thanks,
Jules

Jules,
You should see a pause button in the player UI. If it is not showing what web browser are you using? What version of Adobe Flash player is installed on your computer?
Chirag,
I’m sorry there is no download option presently. Everything is in Flash format streamed from my web server. I am considering other delivery options for the future.

Awesome videos I really like the way you present them. I took a solidworks class at a Tech School but it was hard to always know what the teacher was doing. This is great. Please continue to make these videos.

Very helpful video, thank you. I too am taking a class at the college and this step-by-step video is a great addition to my learning options.
You are very good at teaching, I am getting much out of your videos.
I am very interested in seeing some videos on surfacing/ sweeps & lofts. Is that a possiblility? Please keep them coming.

Dear Tim,
Thanks for this enlightening video.
Although I’ve read several books on SW I have become a lot wiser.
Especially since I see you’re doing things easier than we do it.
Over time I have seen all the videos.
The only thing I do not quite understand is the Bill of material and the relationship it has with the parts.
Do you have a video about this?
Kind Regards,
Frank
