I’ve seen on SLD 2008 that when you select an edge,or a face it comes out with a neon-fluorecent hilight color,and the background also reflects the part, hows that, i just cant find that option.

hey i just donated.

but here’s an idea.

make all the videos on ur site have no pause button.. and then to get that feature, u have to donate $1USD per movie and u get full access to the download the whole movie and download any support files for it as well.

I think most people who come on here and would be willing to pay are people in the industry who are in a bind and need a quick fix. When that deadline is quickly approaching, a few $ doesn’t seem like that much for piece of mind.

what does everyone think? ps. this will probably only work when u get heaps more viewers right? So start making more crap and forget that pause button

The chances of Digg doing you any good are remote IMHO. Throw up a paypal contribute link and I will send along my $10. I agree with the sentiment repeatedly expressed above. Most people can share knowledge but very few are effective TEACHERS. This is amply demonstrated by the fact that I watch one of your videos to learn about its subject and end up learning a few extra things every time.

Could you guys assemble either a best practices video, or perhaps a separate list of best practices? I feel as if I am wasting so much time doing everything the hard way.

You’re one of the rare video tut guys out there who can actually teach and at the same time make it entertaining.

You need to keep doing what your doing! I think people would be prepared to pay a reasonable fee or click on ads to help you out.

Just be open and upfront about the whole thing (including how much providing it costs you to run everything) and your users will respect you and support you.

Here is an example of someone doing the same thing as you, (who also happens to be a good teacher) who is making money decent money doing tute vids online.

I’m an (older(45)) CAD student in a two year degree program. 1 year into it now and we are still doing 2D with AutoCAD. I am BORED out of my mind with AutoCAD. I learned more Today from these few Tutorials than I have from MANY other Tutorials. Your methods and practical approach make this program come alive! Than you VERY much for the time and Instruction. How could anyone NOT DIGG IT! I am sending all my buddy’s here. I wish there were more Tutorials. My wife keeps screeming turn that **** down. LOL Thank you Sir.
