Hello Tim.
Thanking you for these videos, they are very good for the ones who have just done essentials training and want to have explosive acceleration in learning solidworks, please continue posting these videos, is there any way to get these recordings?
Thanking you with kind regards.

I have been using Solidworks for about a year and a half now. This is the first time I went to your site. After viewing just a couple of your videos I've picked up on a number of techniques. Keep put the great work, your videos are a great help.

solidworker.com is fantastic. I have been using SolidWorks since 1997 and thanks to you, am finally breaking away from continually using the same commands, expanding knowledge and creating better, more efficient, complex yet very robust models.

Are you planning videos covering surfacing tailored toward consumer products for the more advanced users? Great job!

Thank you,

Greg

hey i just donated.

but here's an idea.

make all the videos on ur site have no pause button.. and then to get that feature, u have to donate $1USD per movie and u get full access to the download the whole movie and download any support files for it as well.

I think most people who come on here and would be willing to pay are people in the industry who are in a bind and need a quick fix. When that deadline is quickly approaching, a few $ doesn't seem like that much for piece of mind.

what does everyone think? ps. this will probably only work when u get heaps more viewers right? So start making more crap and forget that pause button :P

The chances of Digg doing you any good are remote IMHO. Throw up a paypal contribute link and I will send along my $10. I agree with the sentiment repeatedly expressed above. Most people can share knowledge but very few are effective TEACHERS. This is amply demonstrated by the fact that I watch one of your videos to learn about its subject and end up learning a few extra things every time.

Could you guys assemble either a best practices video, or perhaps a separate list of best practices? I feel as if I am wasting so much time doing everything the hard way.

You're one of the rare video tut guys out there who can actually teach and at the same time make it entertaining.

You need to keep doing what your doing! I think people would be prepared to pay a reasonable fee or click on ads to help you out.

Just be open and upfront about the whole thing (including how much providing it costs you to run everything) and your users will respect you and support you.

Here is an example of someone doing the same thing as you, (who also happens to be a good teacher) who is making money decent money doing tute vids online.

http://www.phpvideotutorials.com/

I read somewhere that he quit his day job.. anyway, check out his site and the services he provides.. contact him, he's a pretty open guy, i'm sure he could give you tips about how to make it economically viable for you.

GO FOR IT!! We all need you to!

I've got a massive solidworks training series that my boss bought me, but every time i put it on, I wanna hang myself and jump out of a window at the same time. It is soo DULL & BORING and JUST WON'T GET TO THE POINT!

DO THIS PLEASEEEE!!! If not for you, do it for the kids, cute puppies and elderly women trying to cross the street!
